I see this kind of mentality in so many other areas. I don't want to date myself but i can remember in the 70's when car manufactures were putting 400+ h.p. engines in cars for the common public. Do you have any idea how mony of the people who bought these cars could ever utilize that 400+ h.p.. How many guys do you know who have 90+ h.p. bikes that are good enough riders that they can use all of that horsepower. How many guys do you know who go out and buy 1500cc cruisers that will never go any further than a 100 mile trip. Talk about some inflated egos. I think alot of these guys that buy these machines are thinking that monster bikes will somehow make up for lower testosterone levels. Notice I say most of these guys. I have a couple of really big friends who need big bikes and can handle them. I don't want to offend anyone but the bottom line is "will that bike do what you want it to?" If it will and I will almost bet it will, then don't worry what someone else will think. I judge the man by who he is not what size bike he rides.
